Ashley Weant, MSW, LCSW
Practice Owner & Therapist
My Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that each person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued for who they are. My goal is to meet clients where they are, honoring their unique experiences, strengths, and needs while creating a safe and supportive space for growth and healing.
I value honesty, humor, humility, connection, and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship. Because every individual’s journey is different, I tailor my approach to each client, while drawing from therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support their individual goals and needs.
My Education & Experience
I attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, graduating in 2017 with my Bachelor’s in Psychology. Later, I attended Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville to earn my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2022. I continued my studies at Aurora University to complete the School Social Work program in 2024.
Within the field of Social Work, I have experience working with diverse populations and across several settings, including foster care, domestic violence services, public schools & special education, and a group practice.
